On FB (of course) some dude posted a pic of his gorgeous dog. So, I told him about shows in his area and that he should show her. Some other dumbwad chimes in you know the type where you sure as heck didnt ask for his opinion, but he gonna give it anyways? And its just stupid? Yeah, he chimes in "I gots a 100% Purebreed Australian Black Nose Pitbull" Drrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.............................. I asked what that was he was like "GOGGLE IT!" all yelling in caps and stuff! Goggle? Um....ok... I told him I found where Australia banned the breed, but it is not a bloodline, and neither is a blacknose, its just a color. Nope-hey yall-Im thinking Im wanting an authentic purebreed australian blacknose pitbull!!!!!!! O, BTW-Its dna proved it to be AUSTRALIAN>>>> bababahahahahahahahahahaha!
Since i moved last year ive stumbled across several of these types.. unfortunatly for me its not fb, its in person.. Seems everyone in the neighborhood has at one time or another owned a purebred "Warlock" Doberman. < for the record there is no such thing and the statement only proves ignorance. Well, my dog is an authentic black nosed, one black eared chihuahua He's got papers and everything!! He won best in show for peeing on command.
Along the same lines is that there are two standards for the Doberman, FCI and AKC although they are considered the same breed. Makes showing a FCI standard Doberman in the AKC impossible and vice versa. Which stinks for us in the US who own the Euro (FCI) Versions.
When you import an FCI Dobermann and transfer the paper work over to the AKC you even get a new name for the breed. FCI= Dobermann, AKC= Doberman Pinscher.
