NATGEO CANCELS 'THE DOG WHISPERER' Posted June 7, 2012 by Admin of Dog News After more than 150 episodes, Cesar Millan announced via Facebook that the final season of Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan will premiere Saturday, July 7, 2012, with back-to-back episodes beginning at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Nat Geo WILD. The ninth and final season features 12 all-new episodes. “I am so thankful to all the Dog Whisperer fans that embraced the show over the years and made it such a huge success,” said Cesar. “It was bittersweet filming the final episodes, but they are a lot of fun and turned out to be some of the best cases ever. And to my biggest fans, never fear, you haven’t seen the last of me yet!” Reactions were mixed, no surprise given the controversy surrounding training methods employed by Millan. Positive trainers opposed to his techniques are happy to witness the show’s demise, but adoring fans said they wanted the popular series to continue. _______________________________________________________ http://www.lifewithdogs.tv/2012/06/natgeo-cancels-dog-whisperer/
Nine years...that was a pretty good run for T.V There's a new guy on CBS, Justin Silver with a show called 'Dogs in the City', I've watched that a few times.... entertaining, but I don't know if it'll last on Prime Time T.V.
I like Cesar. He has very good results with red zone dogs. Not every situation he is involved in is successful, like the Pit Bull fight that he was not able to quickly control. All the SHHH SHHH in the world will have no effect on two Pit Bulls that locked in battle. Still, I like his Alfa /Beta/Omega philosophy, and I agree with it.
Ive never seen a break stick in my life. (IRL anyway) I personally think the guy is a genius! Ive never seen him hurt or break a dog in all the years i watched his show.. However i grew tired of it a cpl years ago and havent seen anything new in ages.
I have two that I had a woodsmith create for me. They are made from light oak, sanded and polished. I can post a picture if you want to see them.
