I am very curious about them. I have seen many people with them and I am looking for a new companion. I have had experience with owning a sweet Doberman named Bella. She was my dog through & through, there wasnt one thing we didnt do together. But sadly she passed away in Oct of last year and I am just not ready for another Doberman I dont think. Anywho, I noticed a few had Pits here... I was just wondering what kind of dog they are? Are they really active, smart, stubborn, same sex aggressive, etc etc.
STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- Use the “P” word with Barbara Meyers and you might very well get a lesson about a movement among animal advocates who are challenging society’s widely accepted definition of “pets” as “domesticated animals kept for pleasure.”
A friend asked if I could help her find booties for her lab Rocco. Rocco is 9 years old and has issues, including diabetes and partial paralysis of the face. He drags his front feet on the ground in such a manner that the tops of the nails scrape on the ground and bleed.
She's like to try booties for him and thinks the booties sold in pet stores are of inadequate quality, and would like to find a place that will help her get the proper fit.
Can anyone recommend a supplier of booties?

Never ever EVER thought the day would come that I would actually be able to say that Zeus is a good boy! Seriously. He drove me to the egde...and back so many times, he's lucky to be with us today, and I'm lucky I'm not holed up in a mental institution somewhere.
He still has a ways to go, but for a week or so now he has minded better, behaved himself...just over all been a good dog I am such a proud Grammi.
yes, I pry jinxed the whole thing, but I am thankful that he is trying!!!
I got a new baby! Rescued her yesterday from an adoption group that comes to my place of employment every weekend to try and adopt out dogs. Her card said "Lab X" and I was just curious if anyone had any ideas?
She's got a Boxer looking face to me but she's only 3 months old and already as big as our year old Boxer! and her feet are GIGANTIC!
But she sure is cute though! Her name is Emmie and this is only my first day with her but I'm already so in love.
We got her because Bodhi really needed someone to play with. Our Collie wouldn't play with him and it was depressing watching him literally shove toys in Alfie's mouth and Alfie just didn't want to play at all. So, we got him a little...
